Millennium Healthcare Management (MHM) was formed in January 2006 by Mr. Keith LeBlanc and Dr. Gerald Cvitanovich.  MHM helps establish urgent care / occupational medicine centers and keep day-to-day operations running effectively and efficiently.  By offering a full spectrum of management services, MHM allows physicians to stay solely focused on patient care.  The highly-trained and experienced staff at MHM assures that all centers perform under the highest quality and ethical standards.

Keith LeBlanc, Chief Executive Officer

Keith LeBlanc
Mr. Keith LeBlanc is the co-founder and CEO of Millennium Healthcare Management. In 2006, Mr. LeBlanc returned to his home in hurricane-ravaged New Orleans with a vision to make urgent care services available in Southeast Louisiana.  Together with his business partner Dr. Gerry Cvitanovich, Mr. LeBlanc founded Millennium Healthcare Management (MHM) to provide a full-spectrum of practice management services to Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine Centers.  Today, the company has grown to include ten Urgent Care centers across Louisiana and south Mississippi with several new centers in planning. With his extensive background in clinical medicine and business development, Mr. LeBlanc brings the experience necessary to lead MHM through continued expansion.

In 1980, Mr. LeBlanc earned a bachelor's degree in Cardiopulmonary Science from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.  He later returned to LSU and was awarded a master's degree in Health Science in 1986.  Mr. LeBlanc practiced respiratory therapy for six years before being recruited as Hospital Administrator and CEO for Humana Hospital in New Orleans.  In 1994, he founded Quest Group and Physician Equity MSO, a 50/50 joint venture with 13 partner physicians where he served as CEO.  In 2002, he joined SurgiCare Inc., an AMEX listed company where he orchestrated a company refinance by raising over 15 million in capital and reworked the company's infrastructure to comply with AMEX standards.  In addition to these ventures, Mr. LeBlanc has also consulted for several healthcare business developments, including HealthCare Partners Medical Group, Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation, and Southern Companies Surgery Center Development.

Dr. Gerald A. Cvitanovich, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Gerald A. Cvitanovich
Dr. Gerald "Gerry" Cvitanovich is a 1978 graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.  In 1982, he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Tulane University and went on to attend medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.  Upon receiving his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Cvitanovich completed a Family Practice Residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge and became board-certified in Family Practice.  Dr. Cvitanovich began his career as an emergency staff physician for EMSA Limited Partnership in May 1989.  A few years later he joined the emergency department staff at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana.  He served as Medical Director of East Jefferson General Hospital’s Wound Center from 2002 to 2007 as well as three terms on the Medical Executive Committee at East Jefferson General Hospital.  Dr. Cvitanovich was elected Coroner of Jefferson Parish for a term beginning March 2012.

Through his experiences in emergency medicine, Dr. Cvitanovich became interested in urgent care as an alternative to the Emergency Room for minor injury and illness.  He found that urgent care centers offered a time and money saving option for patients, without sacrificing quality.  In 2002, he opened East Jefferson After Hours in Kenner and began treating a variety of injury and illness, including broken bones, cuts, sprains, asthma, earaches, and influenza.  A second location was opened in Metairie in 2006.  Learn more about EJAH.
